Catalise provides impartial, independent advice, helping directors review and select solutions most appropriate to the business. We work closely with management teams to review the position of the company and identify the scale of the issues that need to be addressed. We work quickly to develop a recovery plan and identify critical milestones that need to be achieved. We will also take a leading role in the delivery of the agreed strategy and where appropriate become directly involved in negotiations with key stakeholders. We advise on both single issues and holistic turnaround plans.

We support the Board and Management Team by:

• Leveraging our experience of distressed situations and the demands involved.
• Stakeholder management to deliver a consensual approach wherever possible.
• Empowering management to remain in control and move quickly to implement key actions.
• If new funding (debt and/or equity) is required we can prepare the business case and identify potential sources.

Our focus is not only on the financials but also the underlying viability of the business in terms of its market, competitive position, sales and marketing activities, technology and processes, management and people, as well as the overall infrastructure.

Catalise may take the lead role in the recovery process but we also work closely with other professional service providers and stakeholders as necessary. These can include leading accountancy and restructuring firms, legal experts, mainstream and specialist funders, investors (both individuals and private equity firms), senior levels of HMRC.
